20/3/2013 : Kerajaan Negeri bersetuju untuk mengurangkan bayaran cukai taksiran sebanyak 50 peratus kepada Orang Kelainan Upaya (OKU) yang memiliki rumah di seluruh Selangor dan diskaun in berkuatkuasa serta merta.
pengurangan cukai taksiran itu bertujuan membantu meringankan beban OKU yang perlu berdepan dengan kos sara hidup yang semakin tinggi di Selangor terutamanya di kawasan bandar. Tetapi rumah itu disewakan kepada pihak lain, mereka tidak layak menikmati pengurangan tersebut.

Good news for Selangor Deaf people.

Smart Disabled persons/ OKU in Selangor who own houses in the state will pay 50% less assessment tax.

MPPJ announcing the reduction of assessment Tax which takes effect immediately, it will only apply to the those residing in the house currently and does not include houses that are rented out.

MPPJ purpose that this tax reduction is to ease the burden of the OKU who have to cope with the rising cost of living, especially in the urban areas

This reduction follows a 25% assessment tax cut for low-cost flat owners which took effect in June last year.

雪兰莪州政府宣布即日起降低残疾业主的产业门牌税高达50%,不过仅限残疾业主居住的单位,出租单位则不包括。

雪州务大臣丹斯里卡立今日主持州行政会议后在记者会上说,州政府继之前宣布降低廉价组屋业主的门牌税25%后,如今再降低残疾业主的居家门牌税。

实施降低门牌税的措施主要协助残疾人士,应付日渐沉重的生活费。

他说,这项惠民计划也是雪州政府认同残疾族群,对雪州经济及社会文化领域的贡献。
